Customer Operations Analyst


Century Distribution Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha ("K" Line), is a global logistics provider focused on providing customized international supply chain solutions through quality service and innovative systems. Century currently has a job opening for a Customer Operations Analyst on site at a customer s office in West Palm Beach, FL.


Job Description:

• Candidate must be able to communicate and liaise between foreign offices and customers; identify the needs of the customer; find solutions to the customer s requirements and assist the customer when needed with operational issues.
  
• Create, update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and/or User Guides for assigned customers.
  
• Manage special projects as required.
  
• Work on a small team responsible for the overall health of customers
  
• Candidate should be able to prioritize tasks and handle unique customer situations.
  
• Candidate must be a self-motivated and well organized with strong attention to detail
  
• Candidate should possess good oral, written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  
• Strong time management and problem solving skills.
  
• Direct communication with customers (phone/email) necessary.
  
  
  Minimum Requirements:
  
  • Bachelor s Degree preferred but not required.
    
  • Experience in a customer service role required.
    
  • Experience in supply chain management or forwarding services preferred
    
  • Proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
    
  • Familiarity with SQL and technical understanding of interface maps (EDI/XML) is preferred.
    
  • Some project management experience is preferred.
