CFM56 Engine Technician (Second Shift)

Location: Doral, FL
Schedule: Monday through Friday - Second Shift (2:15 PM - 10:15 PM)
Type of Work: In Office
Type of Contract: Permanent
Pay Rate: $25/hr - $38/hr + $2/hr for second shift differential

Note: This is not a line maintenance position. Only candidates with experience working on CFM56 engines in a Part 145 repair shop (off-wing) will be considered.

Job Summary
We're looking for a CFM56 Engine Technician who will play a key role in ensuring the safety, performance, and reliability of CFM56 engines. You'll be responsible for performing hands-on maintenance and repairs to meet OEM and FAA standards. Responsibilities and Duties

Perform assembly and disassembly of CFM56 engines and modules with precision and care.
Conduct maintenance and repair of engine parts and modules according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Read and interpret technical manuals, work scopes, and engineering diagrams accurately.
Use appropriate tools and calibrated equipment required for engine service.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and properly care for shop equipment.
Record all maintenance tasks and findings clearly and accurately in documentation systems.
Collaborate effectively with other technicians and engineers to meet performance goals.
Adhere strictly to FAA regulations, Part 145 repair station protocols, and internal quality systems.
Qualifications
2-5 years of hands-on experience working with CFM56 engines in an MRO or Part 145 repair station.
Powerplant License preferred but not required.
Experience with Quantum software is a plus.
Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) - FAA requirement.
Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, and capable of following direction.
Must be authorized to work legally in the U.S.
Subject to random drug and alcohol testing due to safety-sensitive position regulations.
